1) Measure your cross kit - for most accurate measurement use a caliper.

Fig 1 is a standard cross kit, A and B are the only measurements needed.

Fig 2 is a constant velocity (CV) cross.  A,B,C and D measurements are needed.

2) What type of tube/shaft style?  Remove guard to determine.

3) What type of shield and any special markings.

    - Color

    - Plastic/Metal

    - Brand Markings

    - Part Numbers

4) How Long?  Closed length, please specify center of cross to center of cross or overall collapsed length. 

5) What type of implement is it on?  What brand?  What model #? 

    - Many times we can match up a shaff based on the above information.

6) Type of yoke on(splines and dimension) of both tractor and implement.

    - Do you have the OEM part number?

7) Any other special feature?  Clutch, constant velocity (CV), etc.
